So today I had 2 very different things happen to me. I can only talk about 1 because the other, I still haven’t wrapped my brain around. But I can talk about this thing because I’m still laughing as I type this.
I know I talk a lot about the 2 dodos that used to live next door to me. But it’s really hard not to when our humor is on point. So, here’s another little story about 2 of my favorite people.
We were bantering back and forth about the oddities I store in my attic at my old house. You probably would never read another one of my stories if you knew what I actually had in there. But anyway, as the conversation was coming to a close on our group thread, I thew them a bone…

As you can see, I put just enough out there to get an expected response. Hook, line and sinker! So, I directed them to the power washer and hose that was stored amongst the rest of the shit I have stored in my attic. I could have sworn I gave them instructions that before they drag all of the equipment over to where it was needed, they may want to make sure it’s all in working order.
Nevertheless, I get this…

I was thinking no way that’s the hose from the attic. I didn’t recognize the house in the background of the pic either. (Watch, it will probably be my house. They will let us all know.) I thought it was another prank these guys like to pull on me. So, I replied…

And then I remembered I have a Y connector (or splitter, or whatever, I’m not a plumber) where my city water connection is on my camper. It’s a short, grey hose that I use to give Roxy her baths which was actually the missing end of the hose he was holding! I start laughing uncontrollably and send them this…

But quite possibly my most favorite (don’t tell them that!) and funniest (that either) is their son who sent me this…

And this is why we are friends. Because this stuff never gets old. These guys make me feel like I’m at home even when I’m 1100 miles away.
Roxy and I are finishing up our stay in Colorado. Having lived my entire life in the Midwest, I can never get enough of these views. Here are a few pics of our drives and adventures in this state. Until next year Colorado…
